Minnesota Unemployment

Since 1976 Minnesota has been recording its unemployment rate monthly, and for the fourth month in a row, we have seen record low unemployment. Minnesota unemployment currently sits at 1.8%, which is far below the national average that currently sits at 3.7%. Carpathian Capital Management (CCM) manages assets across the Minneapolis metro with holdings in both debt and equity. One of the by-products of having such low unemployment is a rise in home prices, which CCM has been riding as the Home Price Index has risen 10.42% year over year for the Minneapolis metro.
